As your mayor, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Village of Manlius’ website. On behalf of myself, the village board and the entire village staff, we hope you will enjoy this site and learn all about our beautiful village and all it has to offer.  A suburb east of Syracuse and coveted for its renowned school district, the village was established in 1813, is the oldest village in Onondaga County and once served as the County seat.

We have many parks and attractions such as our world famous Swan Pond, Mill Run Park and Perry Springs Fish Hatchery as well as many wonderful neighborhoods and businesses that make Manlius a great place to raise a family, do business or recreate.

Our website is a resource to keep you informed of what’s going on and for information on the services provided.  Please check back frequently and request email alerts for meetings and events happening in the village.

 On Friday, April 25th, Village of Manlius Mayor Hank Chapman announced plans for the formation of a Village Tree Commission.  The Tree Commission will be charged with creating educational opportunities for the community to learn about the value that trees provide and to advise on future and potential tree plantings.

 

“This has been a goal of mine since I first announced plans to run for the office of Mayor.  I can think of no more appropriate day to make it official than Arbor Day.”
