Emergency Medical Services

Emergency Medical Services has been a constant with the Manlius Fire Department since the late 1920's and is an integral part of the department. Emergency Medical Services originally started out as basic first aid services and has progressed to advance life support critical care. The EMS covers the Town of Manlius and theTown of Pompey, with respones up to approximately 1,400 medical calls per year.

In the event of an emergency please help Emergency Medical Services locate you by making sure that your address is displayed and easily visible from the street. Precious time may be lost if your address isn't displayed properly. Here are some tips for displaying your address:

  • Keep your address lit. A lit driveway and address is easier for rescue workers to find.
  • Clear debris from address signs, as snow or brush covered addresses can cost you valuable seconds.
  • Is your address correct? Missing numbers or letters from address should be taken care and replaced of immediately.
