VALENTINE'S DAY DANCE:
Show the young lady in your life just how important she is by inviting her to a special evening out on Friday, February 10th! This evening will be full of dancing, light refreshments, a complimentary photo, and more. So, put on your dancing shoes, let your daughter get all dressed up, and take her on a daddy-daughter date to remember!
Young ladies, ages three and up, must be accompanied by their fathers, grandfathers, big brothers, uncles or any "father figure"of their choice. Guests will experience a fun night, creating memories they will cherish for years to come.
The dance will take place at the Village Centre Auditorium in Manlius from 6pm-9pm. The cost of the event is as follows:
Village residents: $15 per couple/$20 per couple plus one additional daughter/$25 per couple plus two or more additional daughters
Non-Village residents: $25 per couple/$30 per couple plus one additional daughter/$35 per couple plus two or more additional daughters

Open Gym - This time of year, every day of the week, the Village of Manlius Recreation Dept. offers "Open Gym". The gym is open from 10am-2pm for free play every day! We have toys in the closet available for use by every child - we just ask that you put back whatever is played with when you leave. If there is a conflict and open gym must be cancelled, a note will be placed outside the gym a couple days in advance. Please call the Rec. Office if you have any questions: 315-682-7887.

The Recreation office is located at the Manlius Village Centre and the department utilizes an extensive park system that encompasses all parts of the village.
Village Centre - The Village Centre located at 1 Arkie Albanese Ave., features an indoor Gymnasium and an Auditorium that can be rented by Non-Profit Organizations or used to host village sponsored events. The well-known Swan Pond, a softball and soccer field, the amphitheatre, and a small playground can all be found on the land at the Village Centre. Additionally, the newly refurbished Manlius Library is also a must-see destination for 1st time visitors.
Mill Run Park - Located at the very end of Mill Street, Mill Run Park offers a large variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. Book a family get-together at one of the large pavilions, bring your fishing pole, enjoy an extensive playground apparatus, play volleyball, horseshoes, Bocce Ball, or softball - or just enjoy the spectacular scenery that Mill Run Park has to offer.
Fish Hatchery - Located in the middle of the village, the Fish Hatchery offers a unique view of different varieties of trout in different stages of growth. Come feed our fish on a Saturday morning and get a first hand look at the inner-workings of the hatchery. For an appointment call 682-7887. After sitting and observing the fish you can get your daily exercise by investigating the large walking trail system at the park.
Recreational Building - Located on Stickley Drive, this beautiful building is a perfect place to hold a small civic meeting or a large family party. With two rooms of different sizes, the Rec. Building can be used by the public for a variety of different events as well as host the village's ever-popular summer playground program. With an extensive group of ball-fields just outside the door, as well as a covered pavilion, the Rec. Building is a perfect venue for an indoor or outdoor celebration.
