Irish step dance

Learn traditional Irish Step Dancing from Certified instructor Amy. Lessons include, introduction to step dance, individually and as a group. Learn Irish Step dancing just for fun, or with the intent to eventually perform or compete. Irish dance is great exercise and lots of fun! Dancers will learn enough foot work to be able to participate in the Syracuse St. Patrick's Day parade, on March 11th, and the Manlius Memorial Day parade. 
 
About the Instructor: Amy has been dancing for over 20 years and holds lessons at several locations throughout Central New York.  She is certified with the Gaelic Commission in Dublin, Ireland.  During her competitive Irish Dance career, she placed fourth in the Eastern Region and danced professionally for Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia. Amy enjoys teaching students of all ages the benefits and joy of Irish Dance, which include team work, commitment, stage presence, confidence and poise.
